The 1st Annual Tsumeb Adult Spelling Bee is an event not to be missed.

This event is designed for adults of all ages and backgrounds.

The Adult Spelling Bee offers a unique opportunity to showcase your spelling prowess in a lively and supportive environment. Whether you’re a seasoned wordsmith or just looking to test your linguistic skills, this event welcomes participants of all levels. Hosted in Tsumeb, this event promises an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the thrill of spelling prowess, from tricky tongue twisters to obscure vocabulary gems.

But beyond the thrill of the competition, this event serves a greater purpose in the coming future whereby a percentage of the proceeds from the event will support local literacy initiatives.

Teams with up to 3 team members will register their teams to stand a chance to win prizes and bragging rights. All team members must be 21 and older to participate.

Registration includes snacks if registered before 3 June 2024.

Registration closes: 6 June 2024

Extras: Grand Prize and Title of ‘2024 Copper Spellers’ for winning team and prizes for best team and best attire/costume.
