Conference Details:
Ahead of the 11th IPBES Plenary Meeting in Windhoek (10-15 December 2024), this conference aims to:

Share diverse perspectives on biodiversity knowledge and conservation between Namibia, France, and other nations.
Help the public understand the importance and challenges of the upcoming IPBES meeting.
Highlight cross-cultural views on biodiversity and its protection.

Speakers and Panelists:

Mr. Cyrille Barnerias – Head of the European and International Relations Department, French National Office for Biodiversity.
Representatives from the Museum’s Association of Namibia, UNESCO, Youth Biodiversity Network, Rent-A-Drum, Namibia Nature Foundation, Kalahari International Festival of Arts (KIFA), Namibia Chamber of Environment, and Nutrition and Food Security Alliance of Namibia.
