Coming Home Dead

“Coming Home Dead” will return to the National Theatre of Namibia. This production, written and performed by Namibian poet Keith Vries, delves into the history of the 1904-1908 genocide through poetry, music, and ritual.

The live poetry production is a powerful exploration of the first genocide of the 20th century. It delves deep into the weight of this tragic history, unraveling the past, evoking the present, and questioning the future while highlighting the resilience and dignity of the descendants of the genocide.

The aim of the production is to restore dignity to the descendants of the genocide and emphasize the importance of documenting the histories of indigenous peoples.

The production is presented by Creative Culture Investments in Partnership with the National Theatre of Namibia.
