“FLASH-FRY” is a high-energy, cross-cultural theatrical event that unites 15 talented Namibian teens with 15 visiting students from the Alabama School of Fine Arts (USA) for an exhilarating creative experience. Over just two days, these 30 young artists will collaborate to write, direct, rehearse, and perform five original theatre pieces, each exploring diverse themes, cultures, and artistic styles.

The project celebrates the power of youth-driven storytelling, international cooperation, and the transformative impact of theatre. Expect vibrant performances infused with raw emotion, dynamic movement, and powerful messages that speak to our shared human experience.

The title “Flash-Fry” is a metaphor for the artistic process—intense, hot, fast-paced, and transformative. It promises an evening of cutting-edge theatre, bold experimentation, and the infectious energy of youthful imagination.
