Potjie with a Purpose – Side by Side Early Intervention Centre

Food, fun, and inclusion come together at the Potjie with a Purpose event, proudly hosted by the Side by Side Early Intervention Centre in partnership with Special Olympics Namibia. This exciting potjiekos competition goes beyond cooking — it’s about celebrating diversity, raising awareness of different disabilities, and promoting inclusion in a fun and meaningful way.

Each team of four will represent a specific disability awareness colour, chosen by one of the amazing children supported by Side by Side. Teams will compete to create the most delicious potjiekos, while guests enjoy the lively atmosphere, tasty food, and the chance to support an incredible cause.

All proceeds go towards promoting inclusion and empowering children with disabilities. It’s an opportunity to spend the day with family and friends, taste great food, and be part of something bigger. Whether you’re competing or simply there to support, you’ll leave inspired and full of good food!
