Tribute to the King of Rumba Returns to FNCC! 🎶
This year’s concert will feature two incredible performances:
-Rumba Roots – A vibrant and soulful tribute to Papa Wemba’s timeless hits! Get ready for a high-energy celebration of his legendary Congolese rumba, infused with powerful rhythms and unforgettable melodies that have inspired generations. 🎵🔥
-Kiltir – A high-energy Maloya group from Réunion Island, bringing you “speed Maloya”! This family ensemble, deeply rooted in tradition, has been playing together since childhood. Their electrifying performances fuse fast-paced rhythms and immersive energy that invite the audience to become part of the celebration. 🌍🎶 Kiltir has earned international acclaim, including the Best Maloya Album at the 2013 Voices of the Indian Ocean Awards.
