Uis Cultural Festival 2025

The Uis Cultural Festival 2025 is set to be one of the highlights of Namibian Heritage Week, running from 15 to 21 September 2025 under the theme “Bahindi Belambl by Chizo Chetu in Subiya” – which loosely translates to “Torchbearers of Our Heritage”.

Taking place at the Uis Youth Centre in Erongo Region, the festival brings together the community for a week of vibrant cultural expression, sports, and entertainment. The program includes the White Lady Cup Tournament (18–19 September), showcasing local sporting talent, followed by a lively Talent Show (18 September) where youth and community members take the stage to share their gifts in music, dance, drama, and more.

The main highlight comes on 19 September with Cultural Performances — a celebration of Namibia’s diverse traditions through dance, storytelling, and live music. The festivities close with a Music Bash on 20 September, featuring live bands and performers guaranteed to get the crowd dancing.
